Bio
Amaia Aberasturi is a Spanish film and television actress. She has completed a Diploma in Film and Television at Central de Cine and a body training course at Clara Méndez-Leite's School, in addition to a complete training in dramaturgy for choreographers, dancers and stage creators. She is also trained in contemporary dance.
Her first role came in 2010 with Los Castigadores, but her performance on the big screen did not stop until she was nominated for the Goya Awards as best leading actress. She was also recognized as best actress at the Feroz Awards and at the Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos as best new actress. In 2021 she was part of the cast of Netflix for the series Bienvenidos al Edén where she shares screen with great Spanish actors.
