Paloma Bloyd is an actress born in Chicago, daughter of an American father and an Asturian mother. Her childhood was spent between the United States and Asturias, which allowed her to be culturally enriched from an early age. Initially, she began studying psychology, but discovered her true passion for acting, which led her to begin her training at the Actors' Studio in Chicago, continuing at the ESAD of the Principality of Asturias.
Her career as an actress began in the theater, thanks to Verónica Forqué, who offered her her first theatrical role in ‘Adulterios’. From then on, she made the leap to television and cinema.
Paloma participated in several Spanish series such as ‘Doctor Mateo’, ‘El internado’ and ‘El Barco’, among others. She especially stood out in ‘Cuéntame cómo pasó’, where she played Deborah Stern. In film, she stands out with her leading role in ‘Perdona si te llamo amor’, in addition to appearances in different films such as ‘No peace for the wicked’ or ‘The Cold Light of Day’.
Recently, she has gained recognition for her role as Irene in the third season of ‘Machos Alfa’ on Netflix, where she plays a writer and feminist activist.
